The room I stayed in was perfectly clean and budget and complete with TV, good value for money, a balcony. The location of the hotel was great - around 10-15 minutes walk from Cairns Esplanade Lagoon.

Think that this well priced and exceptionally comfortable hotel is beyond compare, appreciated it. We think it's a good base for staying in Cairns.

A reasonably priced hotel in Cairns with very friendly staff with three receptionists allofwhom were very helpful. Excellent setting, just off the Discovery Cairns for two nights.

The hotel was a nice place for enjoying a downtown area, adjacent to a Vietnamese restaurant, Great Barrier Reef and Gold Coast.

The rooms well-equipped, air conditioned with electric kettle, pillow on spare bed plus TV.

The team provided a great service. Location: the hotel was adjacent to coffee shops, Cairns Central for Shopping and Food courts and Vendors and the harbour area. Besides, Muddy's Playground was nearby.

The setting was quite particularly good within easy reach of an indoor market.

Real good stay, as always. Fabulous hotel with lovely food and handy location not far from main areas as well as public transport nearby. The rooms with an oceanfront view, comfortable bed, a refrigerator. A lot of food in the property, attached restaurant. Great service throughout the hotel.

I had forgotten the email about finding the key after hours, but the staff at Comfort Inn Cairns City went above and beyond to help me out. They directed me to a notice and a locked box where I found the key. Even though I left messages on the after-hours number, they still made sure I got my key and had a comfortable stay. The bath was very welcome after a long day and the bed was comfortable. I had a peaceful night's sleep in the quiet surroundings. I had a decent experience at this hotel thanks to the helpful staff and comfortable amenities. I would recommend it to others.

Discovery Cairns is located close enough to the center of Cairns to be easy to have dinner into town, and far enough from the same to not be disturbed by the youths in the town center. The hotel also boasts its own restaurant (the Rimini) of decent quality, a great bar, and extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Overall, good value for the money and an excellent stay for the Great Barrier Reef.

Discovery Cairns was overall clean, but ants and other critters were not uncommon inside the room. Another negative was the high price of Internet; while of decent speed and easy to set up, paying ~4 euros/5 AUS$ per hour is a bit extreme.

Well priced hotel in an incredibly comfortable position to a mall. Lovely building and rooms with an oceanfront view. Excellent, efficient staff towards all guests. Quiet atmosphere, a huge variety of nice dishes.

There was a very good sized room in the box. I enjoyed that they had an air conditioning and coffee. The location was unbeatable in a nutshell everything.
